The BR-111 Designer and Architectural Blox Flooring Series is a top of the line selection of fine hardwoods. The line is specifically offered in the following species: Brazilian Cherry; Brazilian Walnut; Brazilian Teak; Brazilian Maple; and Macchiato Pecan. This flooring is not anything like traditional hardwood flooring of long thin strips of wood installed side by side.

Rather, this flooring is comprised of 3 inch pieces of the selected species that are placed into a mosaic or checkerboard layout. Do not think though that you are going to be on your hands and knees personally laying the three inch sections. In fact, the boards come like one would expect a more traditional hardwood plank to come. Each board is 5-3/4 inches wide and 47 inches long.

So, in fact, it is installed like any other hardwood, but the finished effect is sure to trick even the most scrutinizing guest. While this line is not cheap per se, it is worth the investment for the final look.
