The BR-111 Designer and Architectural Cubix Flooring Series is a line unlike any other. This line is so impressive that it has even been integrated into wall covering. So what makes this line so unique? The actual design of the boards is eye catching and visually pleasing all at the same time.

While some designs are stunningly eye catching, they can be less than realistic for actual installation. This is not the case with the Designer and Architectural BR-111 Cubix Flooring Series. Each board is composed of 1 inch pieces of wood in a cubix pattern as the name indicates. The BR-111 Designer and Architectural Cubix Flooring Series is offered in the following species: Brazilian Cherry; Brazilian Maple; Brazilian Teak; Macchiato Pecan; and Brazilian Walnut.

Each board is 5-3/4in wide and comes in lengths of 47 inches. The boards are ¾ inch thick making for a nice solid product that is easily installed with a glue down application. The board finishing is satin, which nicely complements the cubix pattern and the differentiation of the wood species. The fact that this is an engineered wood product makes the design possible.

Engineered woods have a number of advantages such as: it can be designed to meet application-specific performance requirements; large panels of engineered wood may be manufactured from small diameter trees; small pieces of wood, and wood that has defects, can be used in many engineered wood products, especially particle and fiber-based boards; and engineered wood products are often stronger and less prone to humidity-induced warping than equivalent solid woods.
