Ah, hardwood flooring makes another innovative step into the future. The BR-111 Designer and Architectural Stix Flooring Series has such a unique finished product that homeowners will be surprised at the daring style the designers have embraced. The least exciting feature of the BR-111 Designer and Architectural Stix Flooring Series is the list of species offered.

This is not at all because the species are sub-par; it is just that the design of each board is just that impressive. As for the species offered, homeowners can select from the following: Brazilian Cherry; Brazilian Maple; Brazilian Teak; Macchiato Pecan; and Brazilian Walnut.

So by now you are probably going crazy wondering what the design must be. Well, to answer that curiosity, each BR-111 Stix Flooring board is made of little thin strips of wood running perpendicular to the length of the board. So in essence, you have these little sticks, hence the name, making up the boards from one end to the other.

This is a very contemporary look, and has become a popular addition to lofts and the high-rise condo boom, which sadly is now in a bust.

What makes this line especially unique, as if the layout isn’t enough, the BR-111 Designer and Architectural Stix Flooring Series is often installed on walls. Hardwood just gets better and better when people are skipping paint and old school wallpaper and installing what was once deemed only appropriate for flooring, on walls. This is a huge advancement for the exotic lumber industry and certainly an area of growth to be explored in the years to come.
